Please Read the Following Chug Information and Policies!

Thank you for signing up your son to my Juggling Chug. I have no doubt that your son will have a fun time and benefit tremendously from the valuable skills juggling offers. The weekly Chug will give students the opportunity to learn new material, share ideas and work together with other children. There is a constant emphasis on Good Middos and Derech Eretz during the Chug. Please read the important information and chug policies below. Please be in touch with me if you have any questions and if you would like to discuss your sons progress or any other issues.

Thank you very much and I look forward to juggling with your son!

Josh Phaff

Payment

The price for one month/four lessons is 180 Shekels. The month begins on your sons first lesson and NOT according to the first of the secular or Jewish month. Payment is due at the BEGINNING of every four lessons. Please remember to pay the FULL amount on time. Late and partial payment causes non pleasant mix-ups, inconveniences and takes precious juggling time away from your son and other boys. I have an extremely organized system for attendance and payment records. Each lesson attended or missed, dates and amounts of all monies received are recorded. For your own records please put your sons Juggling Chug lessons and payment reminders on your calendar.

Trial Lesson

The price for one trial lesson is 50 shekels. If you decide to continue, then the trial lesson counts as the first lesson and the 50 Shekels goes towards the monthly payment and 130 Shekels is paid at the second lesson. A trial visit must be scheduled ahead of time before the chug.

Attendance, Being Absent and Leaving the Chug

If your son was absent and missed a lesson, you pay for the lesson missed. If you decide to leave the Chug, you must let me know immediately-at least five days before the next lesson. If I am not told that your son is leaving the chug I will assume that he is continuing and you will be charged as if he is attending the chug. If you decide to leave the chug after the first lesson at the beginning of the month you will be charged a full month. The remaining payment or checks will be refunded and returned.  Leaving the chug means not coming to the chug for three months. After Pesach until July, the end of the Chug year there is a commitment to being in the Chug. If your son decides to leave the chug during this time there will be no refund.

Chug Calandar

The juggling Chug Year begins approximately from the week of Rosh Chodesh Elul until July. Exact dates for the different neighborhoods will be announced.  There is no chug on Erev Chag,  Chag and Chanuka. You will be credited a lesson and are not charged when:  1. Erev Chag or Chag falls out on the day the chug is scheduled.  2. If I cancel the chug. 3. If I reschedule a chug to a day your son has another chug at the same time. If a chug will be cancelled, rescheduled or if there is any change in time and/or location I will let students and parents know as soon as possible. If you are not sure if there is chug please contact me to find out.

Trial Lesson

The price for one trial lesson is 50 shekels. If you decide to continue, then the trial lesson counts as the first lesson and the 50 Shekels goes towards the monthly payment and 80 Shekels is paid at the second lesson. A trial visit must be scheduled ahead of time before the chug.

Guests

Due to the extremely fun nature of the chug, many friends, siblings, cousins and neighbors, may want to come to the chug and watch all the juggling fun. The Chug is a class and not a performance opened to the public. Guests can sometimes be a distraction to other children and disturb chug.  For your sons benifit and progress, only students enrolled in the Chug will be allowed in while the class is in session.  Depending on if there is room in the chug, a guest may come to the chug for a trial/one time lesson for 50 shekels.  This must be arranged ahead of time.

Contact

I am always happy to speak with a parents about their sons progress or to discuss any other issues. You can always call me on my cell phone or send me an email.  Please keep in mind that at least an hour before and after the chug while I am traveling and setting/packing up, it is very difficult for me to answer the phone. During the chug I do not answer my phone. Please get in touch with me earlier in the day or week and not wait until the last minute right before the chug.

Equipment:

The Juggling Chug provides a wide range of professional juggling props – including bean bags, rings, clubs, devil sticks, etc. – for student use. This equipment is the property of the Chug and must be returned at the end of each class. Unfortunately, juggling equipment cannot be lent out and may not be taken home. If a child already owns his own props, he should bring them with him to the Chug, as one should ideally perform with his own equipment.

Buying Juggling Equipment

High-quality juggling props are available for purchase at very reasonable prices. As a professional juggler, I am very selective about which props I sell, and only offer quality equipment that I can personally recommend. To see the wide range of juggling equipment that I sell visit www.worldoffun.co.il
